TATOO REMOVAL

Tattoo and permanent makeup removal at our center is performed with a professional Nd:YAG Q-Switched laser. This device uses short, powerful pulses that act only on the pigment without damaging the surrounding skin.

How the technology works

The laser emits ultrashort, high-energy pulses onto the skin. The pigment (tattoo ink) absorbs the laser energy and breaks down into microparticles. The body gradually eliminates the broken-down pigment naturally through the lymphatic system. This is why tattoos fade gradually, session after session.

Preparation for the procedure

The skin is cleaned and disinfected. For greater comfort, an anesthetic cream is applied to the treatment area 20 to 40 minutes before the procedure and covered with a film to enhance the effect. Any remaining cream is completely removed before the laser treatment.

The specialist selects the laser parameters based on:
  • The tattoo color,
  • The pigment depth,
  • The ink density,
  • The client’s skin type.
What colors does the laser remove?

532 nm

During the treatment, the client may experience:
  • a slight burning sensation,
  • a tingling sensation,
  • a popping sensation in the skin.

For added comfort, a cold compress can be applied to the skin.

After the session, the following symptoms may occur:
  • Redness,
  • Slight swelling,
  • A warm sensation,
  • Slight peeling.

This is a normal skin reaction that usually disappears within a few days.

How many sessions are needed?

The answer varies and cannot be given exactly because every skin and every tattoo is different. It will depend on the depth of the tattoo, metabolism, type of ink, etc. As a general guideline, we would say between 2 sessions (for small tattoos) and 10 sessions (for large tattoos).
